Robert K. Graham, the entrepreneur who began a sperm bank utilizing Nobel Prize winners as donors, has hired a guard for his 10-acre estate and sperm vault in Escondido, Calif., and refuses to talk with reporters. Graham, a 73- year-old businessman, became the focus of attention Feb. 29 when he revealed that three Nobel Prize winners had contributed sperm to the Hermann J. Muller Repository for Germinal Choice. One prize-winner, Dr. William Shockley, confirmed the claim.
