This helps in many ways: keeps you in job search mode, gives you the time off you are craving and provides you with income. But, most importantly, it exposes you to the workforce and gains you valuable experience and contacts for when you are ready to kick your job search into full gear. And, it could lead to a full-time job, which should be your ultimate goal.
