Wearing ties can harm your eyesight

The BBC made my day this morning with the report on how wearing your tie too tight can put you at increased risk of blindness.

In an article in the Journal of Ophthalmology, the researchers write: "A tight necktie can be considered a risk factor in men who prefer to wear tight neckties, men with thick necks, and white collar professionals."

D'oh. Three for three. I guess I'll just have to give up the suit and tie. Doctor's orders.
