How HR pros can climb into the executive suite

Company leaders recognize that employees are the competitve advantage in the market. This places a higher value and overall importance on them. And thus, HR professionals are moving into the executive suite. From CareerJournal:

In 2001, 30 HR professionals climbed into the ranks of senior-level management, according to a study of the career moves of 537 HR managers by Drake Beam Morin (DBM), an HR and career transition consulting company in New York.
