According to a 2008 study by The Creative Group, a specialized staffing service, and conducted by an independent research firm, 79 percent of offices engage in some sort of gift giving. But sometimes the gifts go beyond the traditional bookstore gift card, and cause embarrassment, confusion, and even fear.
