How do I use the Job Cart feature?

You will then see this screen:

You can then Apply to the jobs for companies that use this site's application tools or continue to search using the Back to Job Search button. If you select Apply from this screen, you will then be taken to your job cart:

Then click the Finish button. If the employer has stipulated that Job Seekers answer any questions before applying you would be presented with these questions at this time.

You then answer the questions. After you click on the Continue button you will see this screen:

You have successfully applied to these jobs. Why can't I use my BostonWorks login to apply to this job? There are two 'types' of apply processes. Some of the employers have chosen to use BostonWorks's application process and some employers have chosen to use their own application process. In the case where an employer is using BostonWorks's application process, you will find a button at the top and bottom of the job that looks like this :
When you apply to a job through the BostonWorks Apply Button, the items you submitted (resume, cover letter, answers to any questions the employer has specified) are sent to the employer. Once you see the "Application successful", you know that your information was sent. Some employers choose to email every applicant to let them know that their application has been received, others only contact applicants they wish to interview. It is up to the individual employer.
