But hiring uptick suggests worst may be over, analysts say

The Massachusetts economy gained jobs for the first time in 18 months, but far from enough to keep the unemployment rate from rising to its highest level since the summer of 1976, the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development reported yesterday. (Full article: 744 words)
