New Venture Targets New England Hospitals And Health Care Facilities
BOSTON, MA, Friday, January 11, 2002 - BostonWorks, the recruitment services division of The Boston Globe, has teamed with Health Care Source, Inc. (HCS) to offer New England-area healthcare recruiters and advertisers the ability to automatically post online job listings to BostonWorks.com through the HCS web-based human resources administration system, "Position Manager." At present, "Position Manager" serves as the job posting and management system to over 65% of the region’s hospitals.
"This partnership between the leader in hospital HR administration, Health Care Source, and the leading regional recruitment website, BostonWorks.com, helps to simplify the posting of jobs for HR managers in this market," said Peter Newton, president of BostonWorks. "This is just one example of how BostonWorks will be developing partnerships that make the process of connecting jobs and candidates easier," he added.
"Position Manager" allows human resource professionals to post job listings to their own hospital employment websites, manage their job openings database, receive online applications, and track applicants through the entire hiring process. Partnering with BostonWorks enhances the system by allowing HR professionals to automatically post their jobs to BostonWorks.com, New England’s largest database of regional jobs, and for candidates to submit their application from BostonWorks.com directly into the hospital’s applicant tracking system.
