Emergency Nursing Staff

It would be impossible to single out just one nurse on staff in the emergency department of Brockton Hospital. They work as a team, each with their own strengths and styles, but all with the common goal of doing the best they can for the patients and families in their care. This staff has built itself to become intelligent, skilled, committed, and compassionate, with a focus on excellence in care. They orient and mentor each other, they provide guidance and mentoring to student nurses, and paramedic students, they cover each other when any nurse has a crisis and needs to not work. They celebrate Emergency Nurses Day and National Nurses Day with gusto and with pride in their profession and their chosen specialty. They care for a diverse clientele of patients and their families and deal with the everyday challenges of healthcare. They never say they "can't do it"; they're too busy doing it. They care for anyone from infants to the elderly, from medical crisis, to trauma victims with the determination to provide the best in nursing care. Their motto is to care for all patients as they'd want their most favorite family member cared for. I am proud to be their manager, I am proud of who they are and what they do. They are the best.
