Do you have Boston's best boss?

Oct. 16 is National Boss Day. Does your boss deserve some love?

In honor of National Boss Day on Oct. 16, we're looking for some of the feel-good stories out there. Do you think you have the best boss in the Boston area, someone who makes coming in to work every day much easier than it should be? Would you like to give your boss the recognition he or she deserves?

Then send us an e-mail telling us why you think your boss is the best. We'll then choose the best stories and put the finalists up for a vote to Boston.com readers. In the tradition of The Office's Michael Scott, the winning entry will receive a specially made coffee mug declaring them the best boss in Boston.

E-mail us a tribute to your boss to tributes@boston.com and include:

  1. Your name
  2. The name of your boss
  3. Your workplace name and location
  4. Day and evening phone numbers (for confirmation purposes only)
  5. Your e-mail address (for confirmation purposes only)
  6. The details: Why is your boss the best in the Boston area? Share any stories that illustrate your boss' awesomeness.
