We’ve seen strangers do all sorts of things over the past few months — they kissed to shill clothing, they kissed to not sell anything, they’ve slapped each other in the face, and now they’re getting naked. Tatia Pilieva, the Los Angeles-based director responsible for the original “First Kiss” video, released a new short entitled “Undress Me,” featuring 20 folks, in pairs, taking each other’s clothes off before climbing into bed together.

The film opens with a quick background, “In 1957, William Masters and Virginia Johnson began asking men and women to undress for science. In 2014, we celebrate their groundbreaking research with 20 strangers undressing each other for fun.” Annnnnnnd to promote the upcoming season of Showtime series, “Masters of Sex” — starring Lizzy Caplan as Johnson and Michael Sheen as Masters.

Pilieva wastes no time in mood-setting, putting the pairs in a black-walled room with a simple bed in the center of the floor. Participants shake hands, nervously introduce themselves, and go for it.

“Just warning you, my hands get really sweaty when I’m nervous,” one participant says.

Some disrobing goes easier than others — a jacket? A t-shirt? Let’s just whip that off. A lacy, high-neck tank top with Victorian-style buttons up the back? Girl, didn’t you know what you were signing up for? At one point a dude definitely breaks one woman’s high-waist trousers.

The process is as clumsy as expected, but still doesn’t take too long for things to get steamy. Like NSFW-level steamy. Once everyone is in their skivvies, they follow directions to hop under the covers, and — don’t say we didn’t warn you.
