Fresh off the steps of the Met Ball with BFF T. Swift, Karlie Kloss has arrived at Harvard. The Victoria’s Secret model posted on Instagram that she’s on campus this week for a class, reigniting the question on our minds: Will Karlie enroll full-time?
The 21-year-old St. Louis native told The Daily Front Row that Harvard was in her plans back in January, noting that she would like to study either medicine or economics and business. “I will fit it in,” she said. “That is the great thing: I’m 20 years old! I feel fortunate to have an incredible career and experiences behind me, but there is so much more that I want to do with this career and my life. Harvard at some point is in the plan, but all in good time.”
Kloss said Tyra Banks’s sort-of stint at Harvard Business School was an inspiration for her and that she would like to gain a better understanding of the economics and business behind a successful entrepreneurship project. Kloss currently works with New York’s Momofuku Milk Bar, lending her skills, face, and recipe to Karlie’s Kookies, with cookie sales benefiting fellow model Lauren Bush’s FEED Projects for the United Nation’s World Food Programme.
As for Kloss’s time at Harvard, she wrote: “I am very excited to be spending a few days here on the Harvard Campus in Cambridge for a class this week. I had to pay respect to Mr. John Harvard himself and rub his foot for good luck ;)”
Business Insider noted that Kloss may be following in the footsteps of her boyfriend, Thrive Capital founder and early Instagram investor Josh Kushner, who graduated from Harvard undergrad and business school.
