Far out

Whether it's because we know that variety is the spice of life or because we just want something to talk about at our next cocktail party, one thing is clear: We spend a lot of time searching for weird stuff on the Web. That's why we appreciate oddee.com, a blog dedicated to photographs of superlative oddities. An entry called "World's Strangest Furniture" includes funky pillows shaped like Scrabble tiles and a bed made out of an old Chevy Impala. "World's Wackiest Festivals" features El Colacho, a Spanish festival in which costumed men leap over groups of adorable infants (with parental consent), as well as the Australian Tunarama, which culminates in a fish tossing contest. A few of the site's entries are a little mean, not to mention subjective. As any born-and-bred Bostonian gal knows, Aerosmith hottie Steven Tyler most certainly does not belong on a list called "20 Ugliest Celebrities"!
