Some of the gazillion plastic bags used every day end up for sale at Oak. The bags, fused together and edged with bias tape, come in the form of baby bibs ($6), with fabulous designs such as Singapore. The Back Bay store, which opened in April, represents 200 local and not-so-local artists and designers who make bags, wallets, jewelry, clothing, and bath and beauty accessories. The store's clocks, including a black one in the shape of a queen's head (left) and a red one shaped like a weiner dog ($45), will really keep you ticking. Today's hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Oak, 31 Gloucester St., Boston. 857-362-7311. www.oakboston.com
