Nikki Dalrymple is a confessed "design junkie." As a TV producer for National Geographic and the Discovery Channel, she acquired treasures from all over the world. So when she decided to follow her heart and open a home furnishings boutique, she simply raided her Brookline apartment for inventory. Dalrymple's North End store, Acquire, is stocked with throws, pillows, vintage lamps, glassware, trays, cutting boards, revamped vintage furniture, and these fabulous creepy-crawly ceramic bottles by Laura Zindel (left, $60-$70).
