Why stand with strangers when you can relax on an old sailing ship with new friends and watch the fireworks in Boston Harbor. Saturday’s July 4 Fireworks Sail is aboard the Roseway, Boston’s oldest sailing tall ship. Built in 1925 in Essex, the 137-foot National Historic Landmark vessel recently returned to Boston from a winter in the South and is docked at the Moakley Federal Courthouse. July 4 from 8:30 to 11 p.m. $70 (includes drinks and snacks). Reservations are required and the cruise will be canceled if the fireworks are canceled. Cruise leaves from the Moakley Federal Courthouse dock, 1 Courthouse Way, Boston. 340-626-7877. www.worldoceanschool.org
