BACK TO SHOPPING Select Simon malls are hosting a Back at It! event this weekend, with back-to-school deals at some stores tomorrow through Sunday and special activities on Saturday. At South Shore Plaza (Braintree), Square One Mall (Saugus), and Liberty Tree Mall (Danvers), look for “Back at It!’’ signs in front of the stores offering discounts. On Saturday, Liberty Tree Mall will have kids’ activities including book cover decoration, face-painting, and caricature drawing; Atrium Mall (Chestnut Hill) will have arts and crafts for kids from noon to 3 p.m.; and South Shore Plaza will have a fashion show at 1:30 p.m. featuring styles from 77kids by American Eagle, Newbury Comics, GapKids, and others. SUIT AND TIE DONATIONS Men’s Wearhouse is hosting its annual National Suit Drive through the end of the month and accepting donations of gently worn professional clothing and accessories for St. Francis House (Boston) and Tailored for Success (Malden). SUMMER SALE Monella in Harvard Square has markdowns on summer clothing from James Perse, C&C California, Velvet, and others. On our visit, we spotted a gorgeous lamb leather jacket from MM Couture by Miss Me for $199 (reduced from $349), James Perse T-shirts for $29 (originally $50), and J Brand cut-offs for $79 (marked down from $139). Denim and footwear (Steve Madden, Dolce Vita, EMU Australia, and others) were also discounted. We’re told the sale should run for at least the next few weeks.
