On my mind What’s on your mind ...
Fiona, (beautiful name), You remind me of Meg (see Meg Dudley in the On My Mind July 14) when she was your age. She wasn't as into professional sport teams as you are, but she was the only girl on her co-rec soccer team and she also played on a basketball team, along w/ some of her girlfriends, that was in the boys league. She didn't have one, but the t- shirt that says, "Yeah, I'm a girl, but I can still kick your butt" would have been appropriate for her!
One of the things that she and I both love about Boston is that it has so many great home town teams and great home town spirit.
