Some of Stan's words got cut off putting the scan together, so here it is typed out, for those of you in need of some inspiration...

I live by several sayings in life. But, my favorite has always been "It does not matter how hard you fall, but how quickly you can get back up." I'm a sensitive, 'people' individual. I embrace people from all walks of life. I believe in hard work, positive energy, and resilience. After suffering an accident in 2005 that almost took my life I have discovered a more human side of myself. I owe this to my dedication to my spiritual belief. I also make sure I surround myself with lots 'a' love.

about on my mind What do you think? You have thoughts and opinions that matter to you or your community at large. It may be a large-scale political issue like the Iraq war or the environment. Or it may be more personal, like getting your first job, or the birth of a new baby. This is a weekly photo column that asks people in the Boston area what’s on their mind.
