Decorate your fingers at Stonybrook Fine Arts' Make A Ring Workshop.

If you're looking to expand your DIY repertoire or meet other crafty citizens, greater Boston is chock full of classes and events this November. Here are our favorites for the coming month:

Make A Ring Workshop. 11/10, 4-8 p.m.
Stonybrook Fine Arts, Jamaica Plain.
A quick spin through several jewelry making techniques ending with a completed ring created by each student. ($150)

Basic Woodcarving, 11/11, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts, Jamaica Plain.
Learn basics of hand-held carving, including shaping, detailing and whittling. ($70)

Screenprinting Projects: Holiday Cards!, 11/13, 7-10 p.m.
Artisan's Asylum, Somerville.
tudents will design their own two-color holiday card and work collaboratively with each other and the instructor to print their original designs. ($80)

November Food Swap, 11/18, 2-5 p.m.
Boston Food Swap, Fort Point.
Swap homemade, homegrown, or foraged goodies with other food lovers. (Free)

Glass Fridays, 11/30, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Diablo Glass School, Roxbury.
An introductory taste of working with hot glass in either glassblowing or bead-making. (From $75)
