Screen-Shot-2014-01-08-at-1.01.jpg Tons of awesome events come across our desks each week. Make It Boston is how we'll share our favorite ways to get out, get crafty, and make things in and around Boston.

Do you have a resolution to learn something new? Grab your tickets for the 4th Annual Ignite Craft Boston, sponsored by the Common Cod Fiber Guild.

Ignite's speedy slideshows are like TL;DR versions of TED Talks, with presenters getting 5 minutes and 20 slides to share their craft.

This year's presentations cover topics including crocheting, holiday keepsakes, theatre prop making, LEGO, and prison art programs.

Ignite Craft Boston
Friday January 10, doors at 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. start
MIT’s Stata Center
Cambridge, MA
