hawk88_Calendar_1.pngSo much to do, so little time -- and so many event listings and Facebook invites to comb through! Lucky for you, we here at TNGG Boston can also fill in as your social planners. Each week, we'll feature a few weekend events we think you should check out.* If you know of an upcoming event that might appeal to our audience, email boston@tngg.co with the details.

*Note: TNGG is not receiving compensation of any kind to promote these events. We just think they sound like fun!

Friday, Feb. 10: A Very Fine Valentine. Justin Timberlake brought sexy back, so what better way to start off your pre-Valentine’s Day weekend than a show from Boston’s very own J.T. tribute band, The Timberfakes? If the former N*SYNC crooner isn’t your style, East Coast Soul’s Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder covers can get you in the mood instead. The first 200 people through the door will receive a complimentary Harpoon beer, so get there early! When and Where: Doors at 8 p.m. @ Hard Rock Cafe Boston (24 Clinton St., Faneuil Hall).

Saturday, Feb. 11: Crawl In Boston Valentine’s Crawl. In the spirit of using every holiday as an excuse to drink (nothin’ wrong with that!), Crawl In Boston has organized a 16-bar, Faneuil Hall-area crawl to benefit the Hattie B. Cooper Community Center. For a $5 donation, you’ll receive a koozie and a wristband, which gets you into each bar for free and access to drink specials. Wear red or pink to show your V-day spirit, and “if you want to dress as Cupid, that’s more than encouraged.” When and Where: 12:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. @ Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Saturday, Feb. 11: Can’t Keep ‘Em Apart -- A Beer & Chocolate Love Story. Chocoholics and craft beer fanatics (not mutually exclusive), here’s your plan for Saturday afternoon: Donate $3 at this event sponsored by Taza Chocolate and Drink Craft Beer, receive four pairings of chocolate and beer, and give a bunch of meals to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Sounds like a good time to me! When and Where: 2 p.m.-6 p.m. @ Taza Chocolate Factory Store (561 Windsor St., Somerville).

Sunday, Feb. 12:  Souper Bowl IV. There’s nothing better than a good soup on a cold day, especially when it’s locally sourced and sipped from a beautiful handmade bowl, which is exactly what you’ll find at this event. Local chefs will be serving up plenty of tasty soup varieties, and because the admission price benefits the Haley House Soup Kitchen, that warm feeling you’ll get won’t just be from the soups you’ll be tasting. When and Where: 2 p.m.-6 p.m. @ Haley House Bakery Cafe (12 Dade St., Dudley Square).

What are you doing this weekend?
