Each week, we’ll feature a few weekend events we think you should check out.* If you know of an upcoming event that might appeal to our audience, email boston@tngg.co with the details.

Thursday, March 8: How to Navigate the New Social Relationship Era. Whether you realize it or not, every piece of information you put on your (many) social networking profiles contributes to your personal brand. Join Boston’s chapter of Women in Technology International and speaker Lora Kratchounova from Scratch Marketing + Media to learn how you can leverage social media to build a strong personal and professional brand.When and Where: 6 p.m.-8 p.m. @ EMC Corporation (150 Cambridgepark Dr., North Cambridge).

Friday, March 9: Club d’Elf. Featuring some of the most sought-after jazz, rock, and world musicians and DJs from Boston and New York City, Club d’Elf “is an ever-shifting set of musicians fiercely dedicated to ‘the groove.’” Led by bassist Mike Rivard and drummer Dean Johnston, the group creates a unique experience at every show. When and Where: 8 p.m. @ The Red Room @ Cafe 939 (939 Boylston St., Back Bay).

Saturday, March 10: Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy. If you’re a fan of our ‘Gaming for N00bs’ column, you’ll want to spend your Saturday night with the Video Game Orchestra as they perform selections from Final Fantasy’s epic soundtrack. An added bonus: Masashi Hamauzu, Final Fantasy XIII’s composer, will be the evening’s special guest. When and Where: 8 p.m. @ Symphony Hall (301 Mass Ave., Fenway).

Sunday, March 11: FlamencoBoston Presents Flamenco and Tapas at BarLola. Spice up your Sunday night with some Latin flavor in the form of tasty tapas and a performance from FlamencoBoston’s dancers. There’s no cover, but there is a $20 food and drink minimum, so come hungry. When and Where: 8 p.m. @ BarLola (160 Comm Ave., Back Bay).
