Joanne_Gerber: Good afternoon everyone. Thank you for joining today's psychic chat.
Joanne_Gerber: I will be happy to address as many questions as possible within the hour. Since we only have time to do "mini readings", please post specific questions. Questions like "What is my future like..." are too general to be addressed in this forum.
Joanne_Gerber: Many of you have asked how to know if your loved one passed is trying to communicate with you.
Joanne_Gerber: You do not neccesarily need to contact a medium to receive communication from the other side. Many of you are already receivng messages from your loved ones passed.
Joanne_Gerber: First, it helps to let go of expectations.
Joanne_Gerber: Hollywood, in all, its exageration about spirit communication (for example, the movie "Ghost") has not helped bring clarity as to how subtle spirit communication can be.
Joanne_Gerber: Spirit loved ones have many ways to communicate with us. I spend much of my time communicating messages from the other side for my clients, however even though I know my loved ones passed are around me, helping me and guiding me, I do ask them to show me a sign.
Joanne_Gerber: My 86 year old father was recently hospitalized, and I asked my Mom who passed over 25 years ago to give me a sign that she was around, and aware of the situation with my Dad.
Joanne_Gerber: Last week, when I returned to the home where I grew up, I was sorting through some important documents, and inserted in the documents, I found a letter that my Mom had wrote to me when I was at summer camp over thirty five years ago.
Joanne_Gerber: That was my sign, that my Mom was around. Since then I have felt her presence even stronger.
Joanne_Gerber: Some will think it is coincidence, or imagination. Truly, speaking from personal experience, it is not. Spirit is very profound.
Joanne_Gerber: The more you can be open minded and trust, the more profound spiritual expereinces you will have. It is truly a blessing.
Rpse: When someone pases over, what form does he/she take?
Joanne_Gerber: Thank you for your question, Rpse. When we experience the physical change called death, our Spirit continues to survive this change. The spirit is in the form of pure energy.
Joanne_Gerber: This energetic form is what the medium communicates with in the spirit communication process.
Joanne_Gerber: So you may ask, how does a medium communicate with the spirit?
Joanne_Gerber: A medium communicates with loved ones passed (spirits) through the process of "mind to mind" communication, telepathically, otherwise known as mental mediumship. During this process, a medium will engage all of their senses to receive communication from the spirit loved one(s), bringing forth evidence to prove survival.

Rpse: I've been finding a lot of coins lately that no one else seems to see, as if they were meant only for me Do you think that has any significance?
Joanne_Gerber: Hi Defraud. Yes, so to speak, for the fact that a trained reputable legitiamte medium will be able to provide information that is evidence of survival, proof beyond a doubt, that the medium has contacted loved ones passed.
Joanne_Gerber: Yes, Rpse. Spirit loved ones passed will often show signs through repeatedly finding coins. This is where the saying: "Pennies from Heaven" comes from!
mur__Guest_: my mother died last month - did she have a peaceful passing?
Joanne_Gerber: Hi Mur. I am sorry to hear about your Mom. Your Mom is at peace on the otherside. I get the image a woman in her late seventies to eighties, whom passed in a hospital. She was a very dignified woman, someone who was very conscious in this lifetime, and wore her heart on her sleeve. She shows me that she declined in health, that there was a weight loss, and she had was frail before passing. SHe shows me that her passing was just like falling asleep, and there was a grandmother and grnadfather on the other side that helped her make the transition. She tells me she is aware of the photos, and she makes me feel like you have been sorting out pictures of her. She also talks about the family of three, three children. She loved children. Know that she is at peace, and she loves you very much.
boston0808__Guest_: hi joanne, i'm wondering if you provide some clarity for me. I'm an aries woman previously involved with a pisces man, we parted on very negative terms about a year ago and I'm still very upset. Is there a chance for us to find peace? I've tried to talk to him but he has shut me out. I still care about him very much. Thanks for your time.
Joanne_Gerber: Hi Boston. I am getting the sense that this man is very sensitive. He has difficulty in getting too close to you, due to past relationship issues, and he prevents himself from having a good thing due to feeling unworthy of a healthy relationship. He will need to resolve issues within himslelf before he can move forward in reltionship.
Joanne_Gerber: You may want to surrender this realtionship, and send him prayers and light, as you have done the best you can to help him, but now it is up to him to help himself.
Nance__Guest_: Hi Joanne: I am about to purchase a home along the river. Spiritually I feel it is my refuge and that I need to be there. I have yet to sell my current home. I will secure a loan to buy the other home, but will have to carry 2 homes for a while until my home sells. If I do not buy it now, I will surely lose the river home to another buyer. Am I making a wise decision to move ahead with this transaction? Thank you for your guidance. Nance
Joanne_Gerber: Hi Nance. I do feel the draw to this home as you have expressed, as it is quite peaceful. However, I do feelif you can wait until next year before making this purchase, your finances will be better, and there will not be so much financial pressure if you made this second home purchase now.

Joanne_Gerber: Hi scrabble. I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I do feel that you Dad was in quite a bit of pain with his illness, and that he has made a very peaceful transition. I do feel that he was a very sensitive guy, and that he knew he was passing, although he may not have displayed emotion on his face besides the tears from his eyes. I feel it was hi way of saying goodbye, and that he loves you. He is very much around you, and he is makin me aware of a recent birthday celebration with a child. Speechie__Guest_: Will I be able to make it through graduate school?
Joanne_Gerber: Hi PSeechie. I am getting the sense that you focus much of your energy on the "what if's" in life, which tend to bring forth doubt and worry with you. You may want to be more conscious of your thoughts, and repalce negative thinking with more positive thinking. There are many books that can help you with htis. Some of my favorites are books by Ernest Holmes, also known as the "father of positive thinking". This will also help you to strnegthen your will.
dcecere__Guest_: I will soon move out of Mass and will be without a job. Will I have good prospects for a career position?
Joanne_Gerber: Hi Dcecere. I do feel positive about the move out of state. There is a renewal process occuring withing your spirit,and I get the sense that you are strongly being guided in the right direction.
cindy__Guest_: I have a very difficult time connecting with people. How can I work on changing this?
Joanne_Gerber: Hi Cindy. I am getting the sense that you feel that people will judge you. There are some areas of self confidence within yourself that you are now becoming more aware of. Just try to be yourself around people, and you will see that people will open their hearts to you, and accept you and love you for who you are.

Joanne_Gerber: Hi Italian mom. I get the sense that you are headed for some career path changes. The upcoming work vibration that I sense around you will be different than from what you have done in the past. I also get a strong sense of culinary ability with you.
