Eating like a bird is taken literally at the Children's Museum in Easton where the theme for school vacation workshops and activities is all about animals. "Lions and Tigers and Bears" includes eating like a bird so that kids can learn about beaks and survival, and young visitors will also make masks of their favorite animals. The make-and-take art activities will prolong the fun at home - and give parents a few minutes to rest. Today from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (Through Jan. 4; check the website for program details). $6. The Children's Museum in Easton, 9 Sullivan Ave., North Easton. 508-230-3789. www.childrensmuseumineaston.org
