The marriage of tangy pomegranate with intense dark chocolate was bound to happen in some form. Now they're together in icy splendor, combined in ice cream. The mauve-colored mixture is smooth and creamy, not too tart, not too sweet, and laced with chocolate chips. Locally made by Bliss Bros. Dairy Inc. in Attleboro, it is now featured in several spots. Turns out the flavor is also part of Haagen Dazs' Reserve Series. Think of it as a momentary summer escape to the Mediterranean.
