It’s two days away, and dad has enough grilling implements to last a lifetime. No worries. How about a tide clock made by Richard Reynolds or a piece of jewelry by Betsy Frost (oh, wait, that’s for us)? The three-day South Shore Art Center Arts Festival is filled with hundreds of creative folks from New England selling jewelry, ceramics, clothing, prints, Kimberley Majury Albanese’s “Swimmer With Tube’’), fine art, photography, and home and garden products. Stop by the kids tent, where you can see work by artists of tomorrow, and kids can create a masterpiece. There’s music, lobster rolls, and strawberry shortcake. Dad likes to eat, right? Today 2-7 p.m. (Sat 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sun noon-5 p.m.). Rain or shine. $5 donation. Cohasset Common, North Main St., Cohasset. 781-383-2787. www.ssac.org
