We make bad decisions every day (fewer than everyone else, of course), but our bads don’t usually effect lots of people. At tonight’s Ford Hall Forum, Sydney Finkelstein will explain why powerful folks with powerful cognitive abilities make bad decisions (think Wall Street), and how wise leaders avoid them. “Think Again: Why Good Leaders Make Bad Decisions and How to Keep It From Happening to You’’ will be moderated by public relations consultant Sally Jackson. Finkelstein is a professor of Management at Dartmouth College, where he teaches courses on leadership and strategy. 6:30-8 p.m. Free. C. Walsh Theatre, Suffolk University, 55 Temple St., Boston. 617-557-2007. www.fordhallforum.org
