Vegan - it's in the bag

We love going vegan - not with food, though, with fashion. We're eating up the fabulous "vegan leather" shoulder bags, laptop carriers, briefcases, and diaper bags by the Montreal-based Matt & Nat. In other words, no animal (or animal by-product) was used in the making of these products. Our favorite item is the Kravitz overnight bag from the Bi-Line collection. This synthetic-leather beauty (in brown, black, or indigo) for men and women is made from Japanese paper called Pu (polyurethane) and is dolled up with silver hardware, faux-suede lining, two outside pockets, and a detachable/adjustable shoulder strap. Your cellphone and PDA have a home inside, and there's a detachable keychain. $200. mattandnat.com
