I t's SAT time. Did your hearts just palpitate from long-suppressed standardized-test anxiety? Take a deep breath and step away from the Halcion - we're talking about the Style Aptitude Test.
You will find questions relating to the stylistic ins and outs of our fair region. Fashion, architecture, home decor, furniture design, it's all there. And, just to set your pumpers racing again, all queries have been styled in the multiple-choice format of that high school albatross of yore. (Sorry, no score-salvaging essay question.)
The industrious among you might ask: Are there any tricks to beating this quiz? Any "scan, select, discard, move on" methods that can be put to use? To which we reply: What do we look like, SAT tutors? You're on your own, though regular readers of this section are at a distinct advantage.
Note: Googling for the answers puts you at risk for pariahdom. It also shows a profound lack of style.
