How would you describe your style?
It’s a bit of Audrey Hepburn and some Blair Waldorf, mixed with Juicy Couture.
Blair Waldorf? I love “Gossip Girl.’’ My friends are always asking why I watch it. It’s not just the drama; it’s the clothing.
What is your go-to everyday outfit? I pull on my Barbara Bui black patent boots and a little dress and I’m ready to go. Oh, and a big headband with a bow or feathers. I like to wear one eye-popping piece. I don’t care what people think. I’ll go to a dive bar with a white rabbit fur shawl on.
Where do you shop? BCBG, Juicy Couture, Barbara Bui in New York, sometimes Bebe. I don’t buy super, super expensive clothes, but all my purses are designer - Dior, Louis Vuitton . . . a purse is an investment.
On a Friday night, we’ll find you. . .
. . . at Minibar. We go there all the time. Or Alibi. On Saturday nights, I like to go to events at the Opera House or to a ballet.
Any past fashion faux pas? Totally. The curling iron bangs with the heavy hairspray and rolled up jeans. So icky. When I see photos from that time in my life, I just want to burn them. All the girls carried hairspray in their backpacks.
Best recent purchases? My Ferragamo rabbit fur evening purse. Oh, and I got a Barbara Bui purse in Paris - it’s burnt orange with a brown trim and brass buckles and it’s one-of-a-kind. I love having something that no one else has. Also, my BCBG cashmere leggings are great for flying. I’m always on a plane. When I fly, I’m a crazy princess - I have to have my matching blanket and pillow from Brookstone.
Your must-haves for this fall and winter?
I really, really want a pale pink winter coat and red knee-high patent leather boots. I haven’t found either yet.![]()
