Although the deals won’t happen until March 8-14, folks who sign up now at www.spafinder.com/dealdays can get a preview of participants and treatments on Monday and begin booking appointments. We’re told Spa Newbury (Boston), Ardan MedSpa & Salon (Wellesley), and Moodz Spa, Salon, and Boutique (Acton) will be among those taking part.

Finds at the Cambridge showroom on a recent visit included an elegant ivory Parsons sofa for $1,299 (originally $1,899); a five-shelf cherry wood bookcase for $559 (originally $799); and a striking tangerine Ultrasuede chair from American Leather for $1,399 (originally $1,879). We mentioned a couple of consignment shops last week, and in the meantime, stopped by the Closet Exchange, a trio of consignment stores in Needham. A high-end arm features Chanel, Dior, and Burberry, among others; a “Best of the Mall’’ store has J.Crew, Banana Republic, and the like; a “Last Chance’’ store has items marked down at least 50 percent. On our visit, finds at the “Last Chance’’ store included an adorable Gap gray baby doll dress for $15 and a new-with-tags Ann Taylor embroidered skirt for $16.50 (retail price: $108).
