When it comes to Pippa, it’s bottom’s up

Royal Body Part Trend Alert: As the global fascination with Pippa Middleton’s rear end continues, Pippa experts - apparently it’s a job category now - are asserting that the tush that spawned its own Facebook page was actually padded during the Royal Wedding.

“I’m not convinced that it’s completely natural,’’ London spa owner Lesley Reynolds Kahn said on a TLC special called “Crazy About Pippa.’’ “Because I think, if you look at other photos of her and you see her in jeans, she’s got quite a flat bottom.’’

What better way to spend one’s time than studying photographs of the rear end of the sister of the new Duchess of Cambridge - even if the 27-year-old triathlete in question is the most eligible bachelorette in the Western world, and even if her appearance in that formfitting bridesmaid’s gown threatened to steal the show from the bride herself.

“I think possibly for the day, for that gorgeous dress, she may have had some sort of pants that gave her a little bit of a lift,’’ Reynolds Kahn continued, “or even a little bit of padding.’’’

Where’s Abraham Zapruder when you really need him?

The question for commoners, of course, is whether a padding by Pippa is good or bad for us?

Lauren Beckham Falcone, an on-air personality with the Loren & Wally Show, took a historical view, pointing out that Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez already ruined everything with their perfect rears. “They did for bums what Jayne Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe did for breasts. They made the impossible the expected. Now you have to worry about your bum and you can’t even see it.’’

Pippa, she explained, has simply upped the ante. “Even rail thin English girls are expected to have a booty to rival Kim Kardashian.’’
