> Why did you move your company from Rowes Wharf to Kendall Square three years ago?I love the dynamic feel that exists, with the commercial uses of space and with MIT, the Broad Institute, and the Whitehead Institute. I like the location; it’s on the Red Line, and the Charles River is there. It’s a very sophisticated place, a very nonprovincial place. It’s a world place. The intellectual and entrepreneurial energy there is so high.

>What are the secrets to looking good in a hard-hat area? Never wear black-suede heels, don’t worry about your hair, and just smile a lot.
