BRAD MARCHAND

AGE: 23

OCCUPATION: PLAYS RIGHT WING FOR THE BOSTON BRUINS

RESIDENCE: HAMMONDS PLAINS, NOVA SCOTIA

>Talk to me about your personal style. Where does it come from? Well, most of the time, if I see something I like, I’ll try it on. And then, you know, I’ll see different styles in movies and stuff.

>There’s been an influx of European players in the NHL in recent years. Are they an influence at all? I do kind of like that look. I’ve played overseas a little, and, for sure, there’s a different style. A lot of people over here aren’t used to that, but there are also a lot of guys into fashion.

>On the Bruins? Like who? Tuukka Rask. He’s really into his clothes.

>But hockey players, generally, don’t have a reputation for being into fashion, do they? I wouldn’t agree with that. The more you’re around these guys  —  a lot of them are big into it.

>So if you’re going out at night, what do you wear? I like plain colors - white, black, not too much design on the shirt. I like True Religion jeans. I’ve been getting into high-top shoes.

>Where do you shop? Newbury Street, Copley, Saks Fifth Avenue. A lot of the guys go to Saks.

>So who on the Bruins doesn’t focus much on fashion? I’m going to throw Steve Kampfer under the bus. He’s still stuck in that college phase.
