The Mandarin Oriental hosted the Opening Night Gala for the 2012 Boston Fashion Week shows under the Tent. The evening’s honored guest was former Council of Fashion Designers of America executive director Fern Mallis, who is widely credited as the founder of New York Fashion Week .
