Style Spy: Dazzling at Sparkle

Conrado Bondoc, 45
Residence: Boston, right downtown. Boston Common is my back yard.
Profession: Journalist. I’m retired really, but I put together a web magazine, Superlatives.com. It’s the online equivalent of the Robb Report.
You’re the only man here. I know, I expected that. I was coming with a friend and she begged off at the last minute. But I thought: why not come along anyway?
That’s a very dapper suit. Who are you wearing? Oxxford bespoke. It’s the first completely bespoke suit I’ve ever bought.
Does it fit like a dream? I’m in love. I got it at Louis [Boston].
What do you do for fun? I love drinking champagne.
What's the best place to enjoy champagne in Boston? If money is no object, Moo. I had a 1927 and 1928 Krug there. It was like Yquem with bubbles. They have one bottle of Heidsieck from that shipwreck off the coast of Japan.
And if money is a consideration? Legal Seafoods in Park Square. This is the best-kept secret. They have a 1999 Cristal for $250. Elsewhere, it’s $800.
