Style Spy: Arclinea's "Art in Design"

  • Previous
Teresa Burnett, 57
Residence: Norwell
Profession: Principal of Willow Design
Who are you wearing? I got this at Lord & Taylor.
That simple black smock dress goes everywhere, right? Yes it does. It’s like something I had in the '60s. Only that one was orange.
You sound nostalgic. Were you a Swinging '60s girl? Yes, I was! It must have been great, all the music, and parties.... We’ll stop right there. But yes, it was.
What’s your favorite thing to do? Newbury Street. I’m a shopper. I like to walk end to end and go into every single shop. It takes all day, but I love the Newbury Street experience. Newbury and Charles Street were the places to shop when I was a teenager and in my twenties.
People say it was much more interesting then, less generic stores. There were more artists and antique stores. What’s taken over Newbury are the nail salons. It’s ridiculous.
