Alyssa Giacobbe, 32
Residence: Cambridge
Occupation: Boston editor, Lucky magazine
You must get asked this all of the time, but here goes: what are your favorite stores in Boston? Stel’s, Stil, Dress, and LouisBoston.
Why do women need a style guide? I think it’s key to know who you are and what works on you and what doesn’t, and take some time to really figure you what your style is.
How would you describe your style? It's always evolving. It's something that's feminine, vintage-y, and slightly girly. I also wear a lot of vintage jewelry.
Where do you get the vintage jewels? It’s all from my great aunt. She collected tons of stuff.
What do you think about how people dress in Boston? I think people are more adventurous then they used to be. I feel like you can dress up when you want to dress up and people are really interested in fashion. It has changed over the past couple of years, especially with stores like this opening up. People feel less intimidated by fashion and by certain stores.
