Mizrahi (at left) continued his love affair with the modern Grace Kelly (or perhaps that’s Betty Draper?) by offering garden party-ready frocks and kicky evening wear for a young, elegant woman of means. Mizrahi managed to do all of this without falling into cliches or getting precious with his prints.
