The season for sparkle, sequins, and swishy skirts is upon us, and with plentiful party-hopping in our future, we rounded up some of our favorite frocks of the season.
The Twist
Beauty tip: Updos give way to a prime opportunity to play up a favorite facial features because they sweep your tresses out of center stage. In addition to a bold-hued lip or smoky-rimmed eyes, we like the option of darkening and highlighting a fuller set of brows. Fill in your brows with a pencil or powder and set with gel before doing the rest of your makeup to keep from overdoing it. Sweep an iridescent (but not glittery) shadow or dab highlighting cream two shades lighter than your natural skin tone along the lower brow bone for extra lift.
