Famous frocks in film
Scenes, stars, and style from red carpets around the world.
Audrey Hepburn's floor-length black sheath in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was created by French designer and close personal friend of the actress, Hubert de Givenchy. Givenchy had previously dressed Hepburn for several of her previous titles and designed the iconic gown seen in the opening scenes of the film. The dress was worn again by Natalie Portman for the November 2006 cover of Harper's Bazaar before it was brought to auction at Christie's in December of that year. It sold for $807,000 with proceeds going toward poverty relief efforts in India.
