Looking to shower your loved ones with indie gifts this holiday season? Starting November 1, local crafters and designers will take over the Maria Baldwin School in Cambridge every Saturday for the sure-to-be-hopping Design Hive Market. (I'm assuming the market will be hopping because DJ Hyssop from Dead Language Studio is spinning world music and dance tracks at the first three market dates.)

Local jewelry designer Amy McClure (from Olaria Studio) will be there with her graphic, whimsical clay necklaces and earrings:

Friends: Don't be surprised if you see a few Olaria baubles under the tree this year. Happy shopping!
