This Inman Square sandie shop has a nearly cult-like following and serves workaday fare such as a Cubano and tuna melt, but also features some new creations. If you’re adventurous, try the incendiary Atomic Meatloaf Meltdown.

A postage-stamp of a takeout shop just off the beaten path, Moody’s Falafel has been popular among the late-night crowd for decades. This spot is well known for shawarma wraps — lamb and beef are customer favorites — and vegetarian sandwich options, in addition to traditional Middle Eastern fare.
