Turkey roasting times

A bird is cooked when a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh registers 170 degrees; the breast registers 165 degrees. Allow 10 minutes for an unstuffed bird; 12 minutes per pound for a stuffed bird. Stuffing must be 165 degrees. Times are approximate. Please refer to roast turkey with gravy for complete cooking instructions.
UNSTUFFED
10 pounds: 1 3/4 hours
12 pounds: 2 hours
15 pounds: 2 1/2 hours
18 pounds: 3 hours
20 pounds: 3 1/4 hours
22 pounds: 3 3/4 hours
25 pounds: 4 1/4 hours
STUFFED
10 pounds: 2 hours
12 pounds: 2 1/2 hours
15 pounds: 3 hours
18 pounds: 3 1/2 hours
20 pounds: 4 hours
22 pounds: 4 1/2 hours
