Weekend special

There are many reasons to look forward to a leisurely weekend: brunch, the paper, sleeping in. But there is a compelling reason to get going on the earlier side. JP bakery and cafe Canto 6 only makes its ham biscuits ($2) on Saturdays and Sundays, and they sell out fast. These dome-shaped biscuits are studded with bits of ham and caramelized onions, Great Hill blue is baked into the dough for a subtle cheese flavor. The biscuits themselves are fluffy and buttery, the edges lacy where the cheese has browned.
