Carlo Bacci used to make pizza, so when he and his wife, Erin Calvo-Bacci, opened BacciChocolate Design in Swampscott, it wasn't too much of a stretch to sweeten the concept. Their 12-inch, milk chocolate Easter pizza ($21.98) is topped with jelly beans and a marshmallow Peeps bunny, then drizzled with pastel-tinted white chocolate. This is just one of the fanciful Easter candies dreamed up by the Baccis. "Chocolate looks so plain, and it's so easy to paint," says Calvo-Bacci. Bow-tied bunny lollipops ($3.98) sport lavender whiskers and bright green eyes. A 7-inch-long chocolate carrot ($3.98) looks realistic, with orange paint on the bottom, and green at the stem. Purists can find baskets made of chocolate ($28.98), filled with Bacci's own truffles and other handmade candies. For a whimsical finish, you can't go wrong with a chocolate-dipped Peeps chick (98 cents) or the chocolate-covered Twinkie.
