Why is tonight different from tomorrow night? Well, tonight is the first night of Passover, when we will be up to our eyeballs in dirty dishes. Tomorrow night is the second Seder, and the dirty dishes will be handled by folks at UpStairs on the Square. The Soirée Dining Room is getting ready for guests for Passover Menu at UpStairs on the Square. Executive chef Steven Brand will serve a three-course, prix-fixe menu which includes Steve's Great Aunt Sylvia's fava bean and escarole matzo ball soup, slow-braised brisket with horseradish, potato kugel, and chocolate mousse. April 9, 10, 14, and 16. $50 (reservations are recommended). UpStairs on the Square, 91 Winthrop St., Cambridge. 617-864-1933. www.upstairsonthesquare.com
