|1||teaspoon ground coriander|
|1||teaspoon ground cumin|
|1/2||teaspoon ground cinnamon|
|1||garlic clove, finely chopped|
|1/4||cup pistachios, toasted and chopped|
|1/4||cup chopped fresh mint|
|1||tablespoon olive oil|
|1||cup plain yogurt|
|1||lemon, cut into 6 wedges|
1. In a large bowl combine the beef, paprika, coriander, cumin, cayenne, cinnamon, egg, onion, garlic, pistachios, mint, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Form the mixture into 12 balls. Flatten the balls so that they are 1/2-inch thick.
2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat 1/2 tablespoon of the olive oil. Add half the patties. Cook for 3 minutes or until the underside is golden. Turn and cook the other side for 2 more minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
3. Use the remaining 1/2 tablespoon olive oil to fry the remaining patties in the same way. Serve warm or at room temperature with a spoonful of yogurt and lemon wedges.
