Green salsa
Makes 1 1/2 cups or enough to serve 6
| 1 | pound tomatillos |
| 3 | jalapenos or other chili peppers, seeded and coarsely chopped |
| 2 | cloves garlic, chopped |
| 2 | teaspoons salt, or to taste |
2. In a saucepan, combine the tomatillos, jalapenos, garlic, and salt. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the tomatillos are tender. Let the mixture cool.
3. In a food processor, work the mixture until it is a coarse puree. Taste the salsa for seasoning and add more salt, if you like. Adapted from Angela's Cafe![]()
